In what looks to be one of the most even Melbourne Cup's in some time, where exactly does that leave the once a year punters who aren't too sure what to back?

Fiorente will be the Cup favourite, currently priced at $7.00 ahead of Mount Athos ($10), Dandino, Hawkspur and Verema (all $13).
